Directorate vide Memo No 9-31/2008/SPG dated 26.12.2008 has issued orders for promotion/posting of PSS Group 'B' Officers in continuation of the DPC held during last month.
146 officers have been promoted consisting 118 OC, 21 SC and 7 ST officers. The position upto which the promotion has been issued is as follows:-
(a) Last OC promoted Shri. S.P.Chaurasia - Rajasthan (IPO Batch 1982)
(b) Last SC promoted Shri. Abhimanu Bahara - Orissa (IPO Batch 1986)
(c) Last ST promoted Shri. M. Devidas - Andhra Pradesh (IPO Batch 1982)
Shri S. Samuel, General Secretary has been promoted and posted to Maharashtra Circle. Detail list is being published shortly.
